Snow panthers happen in the mountains of Afghanistan, Bhutan, China, India, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Nepal, Mongolia, Pakistan, Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and plausibly in addition Myanmar (Burma). Their reach blankets 1.2 to 1.6 million km² at heights of 3,000 to over 5000 m (10,000 – 17,000 feet) in the Himalaya and Tibetan Plateau, yet as level as 600 m (2,000 feet) in Russia and Mongolia. This equivalents a zone of 463,000 – 618,000 square miles, practically equal to the countries of France, Germany, Italy and Spain consolidated.
The snow panther, known for its wonderful, thick hide, has a white, yellowish or delicate dull cover with ringed spots of dark on tan. The markings help disguise it from prey. With their thick layers, large hide-lined tails and paws secured with hide, snow panthers are consummately acclimates to the crisp and dry environments in which they exist.
Snow panthers want to occupy steep precipice territories, rough outcrops and gorges. Such environments give them the cover they need to waylay clueless prey. They stalk their prey and more often than not spring from a separation of 20-50 feet. Their long and compelling rear appendages help snow panthers jump up to 30 feet, which is six times their form length.
